Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.Steve Jobs, “Think Different”, 1997
I have often found inspiration in the script to the ‘Think Different’ advert, it came out the year I was born, and early in my life I was also described as a square peg in a round hole.
Growing up with Autism, ADHD, and Opposition Defiance Disorder meant school was never a fun experience for me, despite the fact that I loved learning, then when I came out as transgender as a teenager, I was more of a ‘misfit’ a ‘gender rebel’ if you like.
I was lucky enough to change the world a bit, thanks to spending several years engrossed at the heart of British Politics and Public Policy. Now having done a lot, I’ve decided to move on, focus on my hobbies, my family, and spending some quality time enjoying the things that bring me happiness.
This website is my space for that, my Digital Creative Media Production, going right back to what I studied at college, hopefully I shall have the opportunity to do some more really cool stuff.
